Hints for creating a Strong Password
|
- A strong password is one that is of at least eight characters, including a combination
of letters, numbers and a combination of lower case and upper case.
- Choose an online password that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for others
to guess, and use a different password for each User ID.
- When creating a password, avoid easy-to guess words like your User ID, the name
of your child, spouse, pet or your birthday and mobile number etc…
- Do not change passwords using any combination of consecutive numbers or letters
such as “12345678”, “abcdefgh” or adjacent letters on your keyboard such as “zxcvbnm”.

Be alert for….
|
- Spam e-mails. These may appear to come
from a trusted business or friend, but actually are designed to trick you into downloading
a virus or log on to a fraudulent web site and disclosing sensitive information.
- Don't reply any e-mail that requests
your personal information. Be very suspicious of any e-mail from a business or person
that asks for your personal details. If you wish to update any of your personal
information, provide it only through the “Message
to Bank“ function that is available on the “Combank Online“ facility.
- Always note the date and the time you
have last logged in. If you find any discrepancies, please change your password
immediately and report to the bank.
